TRACING THE ORIGINS

At the end of 2016, Dr. Rhonda found herself grappling with the heavy burden of being overworked, overwhelmed, and undervalued. Balancing the demands of a high-stakes corporate career while raising a teenage daughter pushed her to the brink, prompting a critical intervention from her therapist, who warned of an impending nervous breakdown. Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Dr. Rhonda embarked on a courageous journey of prioritizing her mental health, a path marked by intensive talk therapy, participation in support groups, and a commitment to leveraging various mental health resources.

BEYOND THE STIGMA

In confronting adversities such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and childhood trauma, Dr. Rhonda emerged as a compelling example of resilience and triumph. She is inarguably the epitome of what it means to be an overcomer.

“I don’t look like what I’ve been through. I know this sounds ‘churchy’ or ‘cliché,’ but it’s an accurate statement. This is not about my makeup that covers my external imperfections or my smile that can successfully hide my pain. This is due to my unwavering commitment to healing from past traumas. This commitment is the driving force behind my mission to bring healing, empowerment, and transformation in the lives of others.”

Fueled by an unyielding faith and courage, Dr. Rhonda’s journey serves as a wellspring of experiential and Godly wisdom. Whether advocating for mental health, inspiring women, navigating the complexities of motherhood, sharing her testimony, or actively participating in her local church, Dr. Rhonda emerges as a catalyst for healing and empowerment. Her gifts have not only created opportunities for her to minister alongside famous and influential figures but also positioned her as a force guided by faith.
