Dr. Ann Marie Bryan, MBA, GLF is a visionary leader, bestselling Christian fiction author, entrepreneur, speaker, publishing consultant, and mentor with a passion for helping individuals and organizations discover and maximize their God-given potential. Her interactions, leadership philosophy, and life's work are deeply rooted in her Christian faith and guided by Psalm 84:11 (KJV): “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”
Entrepreneurial Endeavors
Dr. Bryan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Victorious By Design (VBD), a global empowerment company dedicated to delivering premier publishing solutions, literary services, leadership development, media platforms, and personal and professional development programs.
Through VBD, she empowers individuals and organizations through faith-centered strategies, transformational resources, and innovative solutions designed to inspire growth, leadership, and purpose-driven living.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2010 when she sensed a strong prompting from God to launch a business. As she sought the Lord regarding the direction and identity of the company, she spent months in prayer. During a church service while listening to Bishop John Baker teach a series on Victorious Christian Living, she heard the declaration: “We are victorious by design.” In that moment, she knew she had received divine confirmation. Soon afterward, Victorious By Design® was established.
Under Dr. Bryan’s visionary leadership, Victorious By Design has evolved into a multifaceted organization encompassing publishing, media, business consulting, digital products, leadership initiatives, and inspirational lifestyle brands. Through VBD and its services, she has helped authors bring their stories to life, elevate their brands, and create lasting impact through the transformative power of storytelling. She has also mentored aspiring and established writers while creating platforms that amplify purpose-driven voices around the world.
She also launched the Victorious You (VYou) Collection, a lifestyle extension of the VBD brand that inspires individuals to embrace identity, purpose, and victorious living.
Career & Education
Professionally, Dr. Bryan has built a distinguished career spanning human resources, information technology, banking, leadership development, publishing, and training. She is a graduate of Florida A & M University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration degree. Currently, she serves as a highly trained Human Resources Information Technology professional and brings more than two decades of experience and cross-functional expertise to her work.
In May 2026, Dr. Bryan was awarded the Doctor of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa) by Mainseed Christian University in recognition of her outstanding contributions to leadership, literature, faith-based initiatives, and community impact. She also successfully completed the university’s prestigious Global Leadership Fellows (GLF) Program and earned the professional leadership fellowship designation, GLF.
Her leadership influence extends beyond business and publishing. She is recognized for integrating faith, strategy, creativity, and service into every area of her work, creating platforms and opportunities that empower others to thrive.
The Gift To Impart
Teaching and mentorship have always been central to Dr. Bryan’s calling. Born into a family of educators, she began teaching mathematics as early as middle school. She later served her community by teaching adult literacy classes in reading, mathematics, and English language skills.
After entering the field of Human Resource Management, training and professional development naturally became part of her career journey, further strengthening her passion for equipping and empowering others. Dr. Bryan believes that true leadership is not simply about achieving success but helping others discover and walk confidently in their own purpose.
Writing Projects
As a celebrated Christian fiction author, Dr. Bryan writes to educate, inspire, and empower readers. Since publishing her debut novel, Unforgettable, My Love Has Come Along in July 2012, she has authored eight books and a short story. She also collaborated with members of the Tallahassee Authors Network Christian Subgroup on the anthology Truth Awaits You On The Other Side, a project exploring the consequences of sin and the hope of redemption.
She is best known for her beloved Encounters of the Heart series and the acclaimed McIntosh Brothers novels, which weave faith, romance, healing, resilience, and redemption into compelling stories that resonate deeply with readers around the world. Through her storytelling, Dr. Bryan demonstrates the transformative power of God through authentic characters and emotionally rich narratives that inspire hope and restoration.
In addition to her literary work, Dr. Bryan serves as Editor-in-Chief of VBD Magazine, an international quarterly lifestyle, business, and literary publication launched in October 2021. The magazine highlights faith-driven leaders, authors, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, and changemakers whose stories inspire others to pursue excellence and live purpose-filled lives.
Prior to launching VBD Magazine, she served for several years as Editor-in-Chief of Purpose Driven Women Magazine and later as Managing Editor of VIP Global Magazine.
Dr. Bryan remains actively engaged in literary communities including Christian Authors Network, Goodreads, BookBub, online writers’ groups, book clubs, and reader communities. One of her favorite places to engage with readers and fellow book lovers is Ann Marie Bryan's Readers' Cafe, where meaningful conversations around books, faith, and inspiration continue to flourish.
The Performing Arts
Beyond entrepreneurship and writing, Dr. Bryan has a lifelong love for the performing arts, particularly dance. She believes dance is a powerful expression of worship, evangelism, discipleship, and storytelling.
Her ministry in dance spans more than sixteen years and includes serving as both a member and Artistic Director of Meadowbrook United Church Dance Ministry in Kingston, Jamaica. During her years in ministry leadership, she coordinated and directed numerous theatrical and dance productions including Back to Basics, With this Ring, The Battle is the Lord’s, If My People…, Counterfeit, Magnify the Lord, Praise Him in Dance, and In His Presence. These productions were staged in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, the Bahamas and Maryland, USA.
Using her extensive experience in movement and storytelling, Dr. Bryan has choreographed dances and conducted workshops for Florida A & M University Development Research School (Tallahassee, FL), Kidz Academy (Tallahassee, FL), Greater Love Church of God in Christ Dance Ministry (Tallahassee, FL), Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church (Severna Park, Maryland) and Elmslie United Church (Grand Cayman). A motivator, she goes beyond dance techniques to share a deep understanding of worship, music, storytelling, and culture with students to advance their artistry.
Working Her Talents
Dr. Bryan later served as Director of Worship & Arts and Artistic Director of the Dance Ministry at New Hope International Outreach Ministries in Tallahassee, Florida.
Under her leadership, the Ministry of Worship & Arts staged theatrical productions under the themes Exalt our God (2005), Celebrate Christ (2005), It is our Season (2007) in collaboration with the Omega Forbes Family and Friends Chorale, Incredible God, Incredible Praise (2008), Spread the Word (2009), The Gift of Jesus Christ (2010), An Unforgettable Christmas (2011), The Father’s Will (2012), Jesus: The Power to Break Every Chain (March 2013), Jesus: Our Priceless Gift (December 2013), Amazing God, Amazing King (April 2014), Celebrate Jesus (December 2014), Amazing Grace (April 2015), Amazing Love, and Joy to the World (2017).
She also served as the Overseas Events Director of Ycats Soul of Dance from Kingston, Jamaica.

Dr. Bryan enjoys traveling, reading, dancing, writing, teaching, meeting people, and inspiring others to pursue lives of faith and purpose. Above all, she desires to use every gift, opportunity, and experience God has entrusted to her to advance His Kingdom and serve others.
