The wait is over! Pieces of Us, the first book in The Story of Us anthology series, is officially available.

A character’s struggle may remind us of a season we have lived through. That understanding helped shape not only Pieces of Us, the first book in The Story of Us anthology series, but also its guided companion journal.

Some stories stay with us because somewhere within the characters, the choices they make, and the circumstances they face, we recognize pieces of ourselves. That is the heart behind Pieces of Us, the first book in The Story of Us anthology series from Victorious By Design.

Even strong stories get rejected from anthologies, and often, it has nothing to do with the quality of the writing. Many submissions are declined because of avoidable mistakes, such as overlooking the theme, ignoring submission guidelines, or sending work before it's fully revised. The good news is that every one of these mistakes can be corrected before you click “Submit.”
